Do I need to be able to drive to join Motability?

As long as you’re eligible, you can nominate up to three drivers (such as a family member, friend or carer) to do the driving for you.

What’s included with the lease?

Other than fuel, your lease will include:

  • Insurance for up to three named drivers
  • Comprehensive servicing, repairs, MOTs and Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) coverage
  • RAC Breakdown Assistance

Does it matter how old I am?

As long as you’re 21 or more and meet with Motability’s eligibility criteria, you can join the scheme. Parents or guardians of a child with a disability can also apply on their behalf.

Will I be able to stow my scooter or wheelchair?

We’ll help you choose a Ford vehicle that is suitable for such a purpose – and provide an adaptation (such as a winch system) that allows easy storage of your mobility device.
